We wish to tune ourselves with International Clubs & wish to have Joint Projects. We would also like to say that Ahmednagar District is the place in which 70 % is rural area & rest is 30 %. we wish to hold activities in rural area for the upgradation & development of the vllages. We also wish to tune for exchange of ideas, culture & also the views of Lionisim.
We wish to add that we are ready to welcome & host members of Lions, Lioness, Leo club from foreign countries in Ahmednagar for exchange of culture, Lionisim views and also those Lions who wish to come for knowing & studying the Indian Culture, Rituals & the country.
The Club is organising Peace Poster Contest in 2 schools Ramkrishna Mandir & Panchseel Mandir on 29th September. About 1000 students are expected to take part in the event.
The service week with innovative ideas is to be celebrated from 2nd october to 8th october in various public, industrial, government premises for social and awareness activities. We have conducted the following activities till date after Installation:-
1) Tree Plantation in a village 300 Nos.
2) Dress Distribution in School 55 Nos.
3) Tree Plantation in School 25 Nos.
4) Distribution of Sweet on eve of Independence day 15th August
5) Independence day celebration In Panchseel School
6) Lionism Trip to Malshej Ghat
7) Clean Malshej drive
8) Permanent Project in School of 10000 students of a Momento/Statue for the felicitation to services of teachers on teachers day.District Governor said he had seen such a innovative project for the first time in his Lionisim and social career.
9) Permanent project in Rural area of a hostel for chidren of deprived & backward class.
10) cold Drink Distribution to 5000 People on the eve of Ganesh Utsav Festival. About 10000 people saw the social programme done by Lions Club on 22-9-07.
